Apple Cranberry Sauce

2 cups cranberries
1 large grany smith apple
¾ cup water
¾ cup sugar


Peel the apple and dice into 1 cm cubes.
Combine the sugar and water in a medium sauce pan, place over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Add cranberries and apple, and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Remove from the heat and let cool before serving.
